(Central Islip N.Y., June 27, 2005) - Tonight's game versus the Camden Riversharks has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, June 28, beginning at 6:05 p.m. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games, with the second game starting approximately 20-25 minutes following the first. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.
Tonight's tickets are good for any future 2005 regular season home game subject to availability. The tickets must be exchanged at the Citibank Park Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value.
RHP Brian Dorsey (0-0, 3.72) will be on the mound in the first game for the Ducks versus LHP Kevin Dougherty (3-1, 5.14) for Camden. In the second game, Long Island will throw RHP Paxton Crawford (8-3, 2.48) against the Riversharks' LHP Jamie Steward (6-3, 3.93).
The Long Island Ducks, 2004 Atlantic League champions, play their home games at Citibank Park and are in their sixth season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
