(Central Islip N.Y., June 27, 2005) - Tonight's game versus the Camden Riversharks has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, June 28, beginning at 6:05 p.m. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games, with the second game starting approximately 20-25 minutes following the first. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

Tonight's tickets are good for any future 2005 regular season home game subject to availability. The tickets must be exchanged at the Citibank Park Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value.

RHP Brian Dorsey (0-0, 3.72) will be on the mound in the first game for the Ducks versus LHP Kevin Dougherty (3-1, 5.14) for Camden. In the second game, Long Island will throw RHP Paxton Crawford (8-3, 2.48) against the Riversharks' LHP Jamie Steward (6-3, 3.93).

The Long Island Ducks, 2004 Atlantic League champions, play their home games at Citibank Park and are in their sixth season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. They have filled their ballpark to over 100 percent capacity in each of their first five seasons and are one of the most successful minor league franchises in the country.
