Jersey Shore BlueClaws News Release

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Philadelphia Phillies annual Winter Tour will bring Phillies Wes Helms, Ryan Madson, Matt Smith and 2007 BlueClaws coach and former Phillie, Kevin Jordan to the Jersey Shore on Saturday, January 20 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Freehold Raceway Mall. This autograph session is free and open to the public.

"This is an event that we wanted back in a large public venue," BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown stated. "The Freehold Raceway Mall is an ideal place to host the amount of fans that will be turning out for this event."

Fans attending the annual Winter Tour at the Freehold Raceway Mall may bring their own memorabilia for autographs but are asked to limit one item per person. Bats, balls and other items will be available for fans to purchase at the event.

Past guests of the Winter Tour have included managers Charlie Manuel and Larry Bowa, players Chase Utley, Brett Myers, Gavin Floyd, Abraham Nunez and many more.

During the last Winter Tour at a public venue three years ago, nearly 2,000 people welcomed the Phillies, staff and BlueClaws coaches.

For directions to the Freehold Raceway Mall please visit the BlueClaws official website at www.BlueClaws.com.
