Blue Wahoos Ticket Holders Get Look at Seats

What a great weekend for the Blue Wahoos! This past weekend, (October 24-26), over 750 fans came through Maritime Park Stadium to pick out their season ticket seats. The first season-ticket holders came through the stadium on Friday evening, and were greeted by a beautiful sunset to kick off this weekend-long event. Fans of all ages got their first glimpse of the new stadium from the concourse, the dugout, and of course, from their individually-selected season ticket seats.

Special thanks to all the season-ticket holders who came out to participate, as well as to Hoar Construction, for making sure the construction site was clean and safe. Thanks also to Seville Quarter for "hosting" our season-ticket holders as they waited to be bused to the stadium, and to the Blue Wahoos staff and volunteers who made the event a breeze for our fans. (For those of you who came to select your seats on Saturday and Sunday, you will especially appreciate the "breeze" reference.)

On deck...mark your calendars for Gallery Night, November 18th, 2011. That evening we will be unveiling the Blue Wahoos team logo, as well as putting special Blue Wahoo merchandise on sale - just in time for the Holidays!
