
Blue Sox Hit Road for Two-Game Road Trip

HOLYOKE, MA - The Blue Sox went toe-to-toe with the North Adams Steeplecats on Saturday night but eventually falling 6-1 in 12 innings.
Stellar pitching performances were recorded on both sides but in the end errors is what cost the Blue Sox the victory in their 2013 NECBL home opener.
Holyoke now hits the road for a two-game road swing taking on the Ocean State Waves tonight and the Keene Swamp Bats on Wednesday.
This will mark the first meeting between the Blue Sox and Waves and Swamp Bats this season.
Holyoke and Ocean State were supposed to play on Friday night in Holyoke, but weather caused that game to be rescheduled for July 15.
First pitch for both games is 6:35 p.m.
