Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
Wilmington, DE - The Wilmington Blue Rocks have unveiled a completely revamped team website, www.bluerocks.com, in conjunction with Minor League Baseball's national website, www.milb.com. The new site will feature the same comprehensive Blue Rocks coverage, but will also include easier navigation and better access to national minor league baseball content.
Some new features include: drop down menus, which will make finding items much easier; more convenient access to buying tickets online; better access to Blue Rocks souvenirs from The Quarry; and an eye-pleasing redesigned look.
The Blue Rocks open their 2009 season on April 9 against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Atlanta Braves) in South Carolina with the first of an eight-game road trip. Frawley Stadium will see its first game action of the year on April 17 when the Blue Crew kicks off a six-game homestand with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch against the Lynchburg Hillcats (Pittsburgh Pirates).
The Wilmington Blue Rocks will have further announcements regarding their 2009 season throughout the course of this week.
