Blue Racers Add Strength Coordinator

MARION, OH- The Marion Blue Racers are proud to announce that they have signed Owner of Optimum Fitness and former Marion Blue Racer, Brandon Ikard as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. Ikard, who is also a manager at GNC, will be in charge of both improving and maintaining the strength and stamina of the 2012 Marion Blue Racers professional football team.

Ikard, a Maiden, North Carolina native, has dedicated his life to promoting the importance of physical activity and improving the health of both young and old people in the Marion, Ohio community. As a personal trainer, Ikard has had clients such as former Tennessee Titan, Lamont Reid, during the summer of 2008 through 2010.

Lamont, under Ikard's tutelage, was named to the 2009 IFL First Team All-Defense at linebacker.

"Strength and conditioning is an intrical part to any championship. I am honored to have this opportunity with the Marion Blue Racers and to prepare these men for a championship run," Ikard stated.
