Bloomington's Zane Kalemba Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (December 27, 2011) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Bloomington's Zane Kalemba has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending December 25, 2011.

The Saddle Brook, New Jersey native won both starts last week allowing just three goals and stopping 55 of the 58 shots he faced. On Tuesday, the 5-10, 171-pound net minder made 29 saves in a 4-2 win at Quad City. Then on Friday, Kalemba made 26 saves in a 2-1 win over Tulsa.

On the season, Kalemba is 7-7-1 with a 3.64 goals against average and a .892 save percentage. In his last eight decisions, the 26-year-old is 5-3 allowing just nine goals in his five wins.
