
Bloomington Extreme Sign Three Players

BLOOMINGTON (Ill.) - The Bloomington Extreme has signed two quarterbacks, Kevin Norris and Will Ducey along with All-IFL 1st team kicker, Peter Christofilakos as the first of many upcoming player signings for the 2010 season.
Will Ducey, 6'6", 225 lbs. - Quarterback began his collegiate career at Ole Miss of the SEC, prior to completing his college eligibility at St. Ambrose University.
The Belleville, IL native attended Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville, IL.
During his senior season at St. Ambrose, Ducey completed 227 passes for 2947 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Kevin Norris, 6'2", 205 lbs. - Quarterback from the University of Michigan was one of the top recruited dual threat high school quarterbacks, recording a 4.45 40 yard dash time, out of Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, MI.
Norris spent his first three seasons at Michigan backing up current Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Chad Henne prior to moving to Wide Receiver his senior season.
Peter Christofilakos, 5'10", 185 lbs. - Kicker from the University of Illinois and the 2009 All-IFL 1st Team Kicker as a member of the Extreme will join the team for his fifth season.
In 2009, Christofilakos led all IFL kickers in points with 143, on 25-55 field goals and 68-75 on points after touchdown.
Christofilakos is the franchise leader in points scored and games played for the Extreme over the course of the four year franchise history.
"We're very pleased to be able to have such outstanding competition at the quarterback position leading into the 2010 season and
to be able to retain the top kicker in the indoor game", Coach Kenton Carr commented.
"We are in the process of signing and re-signing many highly talented players for the 2010 IFL season and look to improve on our 10-5 record from a year ago."
The Bloomington Extreme will play seven home games at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum in 2010. The regular season runs from March-June with playoffs to follow. The 2010 Extreme finished with a 10-5 record, making their third straight playoff appearance in the franchises four year history.
