
Bloomington Extreme Announce Player Try-Outs

The 2008 UIF Eastern Conference Champion Bloomington Extreme will host an open tryout for the 2009 Inaugural Indoor Football League (IFL) season on Saturday, December 13th at the Shirk Center on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University.
This one-day tryout is open to all interested players. All players will receive the opportunity to sign a professional contract with the Bloomington Extreme. The camp will be directed by Kenton Carr, Head Coach and Assistant General Manager/Defensive Coordinator, Ted Schmitz. Several others from the Extreme Coaching Staff will be on hand as well as current players.
The Bloomington Extreme coaching staff will evaluate players in combine exercises such as the 40-yard dash, 3 Cone Drill, shuttle runs and position drills.
Players can register at the Shirk Center the morning of the tryouts. Registration will begin at 8AM to 9AM with the actual Try-Out starting at 9AM and lasting until noon. The try out fee to be evaluated by the IFL Bloomington Extreme coaching staff is $50 (non refundable). Payment must be by cash, certified check or money order. All participants being evaluated will receive a Bloomington Extreme T-Shirt.

- Registrants need to bring with them tennis shoes (NO CLEATS) and work out clothes the day of the tryout.
