Blizzard Travel to Tulsa for Week 16 Matchup

Green Bay Blizzard News Release
The Green Bay Blizzard will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma looking to keep their playoff hopes alive as they take on the Tulsa Oilers on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. CT.
Green Bay (6-6) dropped a crucial game on the road in Sioux Falls in Week 15, losing to the Storm 45-47. A sloppy, undisciplined performance by the Blizzard made their quest to clinch an Eastern Conference playoff berth much more difficult.
To make the playoffs for the first time since 2019, Green Bay needs some help. Quad City or Sioux Falls must lose two games in addition to the Blizzard winning out.
Winning out starts with the Tulsa Oilers (1-12). Tulsa's record is extremely deceiving. The Oilers - in their first year in the IFL - have been competitive all year, going toe-to-toe with some of the top teams in the league. Six of their losses have been decided by one score, and three were by two points or less.
Tulsa enters the contest averaging the lowest rushing yards per game (30.5) across the IFL, a welcomed statistic for the Blizzard defense. The Storm run game gashed Green Bay's defensive line, scoring all seven of Sioux Falls' touchdowns on the ground.
With two healthy quarterback options available, Green Bay will have a tough decision to make on who will lead the offense going forward. Both Ja'rome Johnson and Max Meylor have proved themselves as viable starting quarterbacks in the league.
