
Blizzard head into home opener

Join the 2006 American Conference Champion Green Bay Blizzard Friday, April 13th at the Resch Center for the 2007 season's home opener against the Manchester Wolves. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the festivities kick off at 7:30 p.m. The Blizzard, well rested after the bye week, look to even their record at one following a loss in the season opener to the Fort Wayne Fusion. Manchester enters the game 0-1 as well following a 50-36 loss to the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Pioneers.
The game's opening ceremonies, "A Night of Champions," will highlight the 2006 East Division and American Conference Championships. The Blizzard will be joined by former Head Coach Bob Landsee, former Blizzard star, current Chicago Rush player, Robert Boss, and team President Brian Noble in a Banner Raising Ceremony honoring the team's accomplishments and the faithful fans who have supported them.
The Oneida Nation will also be celebrating their 185th Anniversary as a sovereign nation with, $1.85 concessions items that include BIGGER 22oz. beers and sodas and a special performance by the Oneida Nation Dancers. There will also be 185 Oneida Casino prize packages, 30 of which will include the Jerseys worn by the Blizzard in last year's ArenaCup Championship game.
