Blizzard Fan Wins Brett Favre Autographed Football

For the second straight season, a Green Bay Blizzard fan has closed the season out as a winner - the winner of the "7Up Snowstorm" Grand Prize.
All year long fans have lined up along the dasher boards at halftime to try and throw their white foam football "Snowballs" into barrels on the field. If they succeeded, they won a free case of a 7Up product.
Fans also had the opportunity to try and throw a Snowball into a special football-shaped barrel at the center of the field. If they were successful, they were entered into a drawing for the Grand Prize: a football autographed by Green Bay Packers QB Brett Favre.
This season, 11 fans won entry into the Grand Prize drawing, which was held after the season to choose a winner. The winner of the 2006 7Up Snowstorm Grand Prize is... Sean Macklem!
Macklem, who attended the July 7th game against the Manchester Wolves with his family, won his entry into the Grand Prize drawing by throwing ball number B624 into the football barrel that night. He picked up his Brett Favre autographed football at the Blizzard office on Wednesday, and is looking forward to the 2007 Blizzard season.
