
Blizzard Fall into Tie for 2nd

Brookings Blizzard News Release
The Brookings Blizzard were swept by the Bismarck Bobcats in a home and home series over the weekend. Bismarck held on for a 2-1 victory Friday night in Brookings and shut the Blizzard out 3-0 Saturday at the VFW Sports Center in Bismarck. Bobcat goaltender Aaron Nelson stole the show this weekend stopping all but one Blizzard shot on net. Jeff McFarland was the lone Blizzard goal scorer this weekend making the game on Friday close down the stretch. Nick DeCenzo assisted on McFarland's goal. Brookings (13-9) will travel to Onalaska Friday night to take on Coulee Region (5-12-5). Watch the action at 7pm on fasthockey.com
