ALEXANDRIA, MN - The Fargo-Moorhead Jets cashed in on goals by six different players Friday night to knock off the Alexandria Blizzard 6-4 in a North American Hockey League exhibition game in Alexandria.

Tom Anderson, Marc Harrie, Jordy Trottier, Justin Brausen, Mike Schumacher, and Robby Phillip scored for the Jets, who used a veteran lineup to win for the first time in three exhibition games. Jens Nilsson (Matfors, Sweden) and Noah Nemgar (Bemidji, MN) each recorded their second goals of the preseason while Brandon Bahnemann (Rochester, MN) and Luke Nesper (Eagle River, WI) also replied for the Blizzard. Alexandria dropped to 1-1-0 in preseason play after shutting out the Jets 6-0 one week ago.

The Blizzard dominated the opening period before Fargo-Moorhead found its legs and scored three times in the second and three more times in the third. Elliot Okland and Adam Bueglar stopped 38 shots for the victory. Matt Beggs (Apple Valley, MN) allowed just one goal for the Blizzard but shared the loss with RJ Heath (Holly, MI). The Blizzard face the Topeka Roadrunners at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Blaine, MN in their regular-season opener at the NAHL Showcase.
