Green Bay Blizzard News Release
In addition to the Cycle City Moped giveaway, the Green Bay Blizzard also awarded a lucky fan the autographed helmet to the 7up snowstorm raffle winner. During halftime of every Blizzard home game, fans were able to purchase miniature footballs with numbers printed on them. Five barrels were then placed on the field so fans could show off their accuracy and try tossing a ball into one of the barrels.
Every throw that made it into any of the five barrels won the fan a free 12-Pack of 7 Up. All of the winners that made it into the center barrel were entered into a drawing for the autographed Blizzard helmet signed by all Blizzard Honorary Captains throughout the season. Some of the names signed on the helmet include: Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt, Blizzard owner and former Packer Brian Noble, Gamblers head coach John Cooper, Packers linebackers coach Kevin Greene, former Blizzard QB Chris Greisen, Blizzard head coach Bob Landsee and the Klement's Racing Sausages.
Chad Mann made his ball into the middle barrel and was the name selected at the end of the season to win the helmet. Mann and his son, Ethan, were really excited to come into the office to pick up their prize. Ethan plans on bringing the helmet into his class for show and tell to share his excitement with his classmates.
