Blazers Pull Out Overtime Victory

Juuso Puustinen's second goal of the game - one of the highlight-reel variety - at 4:40 of overtime -helped give the Blazers a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Seattle on Saturday night at ISC.

The T-Birds struck first with a shorthanded goal by Isak Quakenbush at 7:40 of the first period with Thomas Hickey adding a powerplay goal at 11:45 of the second period to bump the lead to two.

The Blazers got one back with 58 seconds left in the middle stanza as Brock Nixon pounded his own rebound past Riku Helenius to cut the Seattle lead to 2-1.

In the third, the Puustinen beat Helenius stick side with a wrist shot on the powerplay to tie the game at 7:24.

Justin Leclerc made 16 saves for the win while Helenius stopped 24 pucks in defeat.

Both teams were 1-for-6 on the PP.
