Blazers Host Americans Wednesday at ISC

Blazers will play their only home game this week and last until January 19th on Wednesday night when they host the Tri-City Americans at ISC. This is the 2nd and final matchup at ISC between the two teams this regular season. Game time is 7pm.

Wednesday's Blazers game will feature the annual Interior Savings Credit Union Take Flight Night promotion during the 2nd intermission. Fans will throw official paper planes onto the ice for the chance to win a $500 Term Deposit or a Blazers Jersey!

Take Flight Night paper planes will be available on the concourse for $2 each (or FREE with a donation towards the Kamloops Food Bank) or $5 for 3.

For tickets to Wednesday's game against the Americans, visit the Blazers Box Office at ISC on Tuesday from 9am-5pm or Wednesday from 9am through game time. Charge by phone during these hours by calling 250-828-3339.

This weekend, the Blazers head north for a pair of games in Prince George against the Cougars. Fans can catch both games on Radio NL 610am or www.radionl.com with play by play by Jon Keen. Game time for both games is 7pm with the pregame show at 6:30pm.

Blazers Acquire Kessy

Following last week's 4-2 victory in Vancouver over the Giants, the Blazers announced the acquisition of 20 year old forward Kale Kessy. Kessy made his Blazer debut in Friday's 6-1 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds and was named the game's 2nd star after scoring 2 goals.

Scott Niedermayer Night Approaching

In just over two weeks, the Blazers will retire Scott Niedermayer's #28 into the rafters at ISC. Niedermayer and his family will return to Kamloops for the event.
