
Blaze Victorious in Overtime Thriller

The Chicago Blaze improved to 13-4 on Saturday evening defating the Kansas City Legacy in overtime 83-74. With two seconds remaining in regulation E.C. Hill (Whitney Young School / Northern Illinois) nailed a turnaround jumper to send the game into overtime.
Hill led the Blaze with a season high 30 points and 6 steals. The Blaze also got a strong effort from Camille Cooper who scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds and Misi Clark who scored 11 points.
The Legacy were led by Ana Deforge (28 points) and Christine Rigby who scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds and Christine Rigby, who scored 16 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
The Blaze return home on Thursday to battle Rebecca Lobo and the Springfield Spirit.
