
Blaze, Ute Conference to hold football camp

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze and the Ute Conference announced the Second Annual "Ute Conference-Utah Blaze Football Camp" will run from 9 a.m. to noon on July 17-20 at the Spence Eccles Field House. Cost of the camp is $100. To sign up, log-on to www.utahblaze.com or www.utefootball.com.
Individual instruction for quarterbacks, receivers, running backs, linemen, linebackers, defensive backs and special teams will be provided by Utah Blaze coaches and players.
Camp for the Gremlin (8-9 years old), Pee-Wee (9-10) and Mity-Mite (10-11) divisions will be held on July 17 and 18, while the Midget (11-12), Bantam (12-13) and Junior (13-15) divisions will be held on July 19 and 20.
Blaze staff scheduled to appear include: Blaze head coach DANNY WHITE, assistant head coach/defensive coordinator LEE LESLIE, future AFL Hall of Famer and current offensive coordinator HUNKIE COOPER, former Ohio State quarterback and Rose Bowl MVP JOE GERMAINE, 2005 AFLWA Offensive Player of the Year SIAHA BURLEY and former BYU lineman HANS OLSEN.
