Blaze Travel to Mile High, Visit Denver Outlaws

ATLANTA, GA - The Atlanta Blaze (4-2) travel to Broncos Stadium to take on the Denver Outlaws (5-1) in their series finale on Thursday, July 11th at 2:00 PM EST. Atlanta looks to improve to 5-2 for the first time in franchise history.

GAME NOTES

The Blaze have split the season series at 1-1 with the defending champion Denver Outlaws, winning the home opener at Grady Stadium 14-12 and dropping the second game 18-16. After traveling to Mile High, Atlanta will have played three games in six days - all in different stadiums and against different teams. Chris Madalon will need to be sharp against the Outlaws, who lead the league in shots (285 total). Bryan Cole has scored 20 goals through six games - good for second in the league. Randy Staats also returns to the lineup after missing Sunday's game against the New York Lizards.

BLAZE TO ALL-STAR GAME

Eight Blaze players have been named to the 2019 Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game! Attackmen Shayne Jackson and Randy Staats, goalie Chris Madalon, defender Liam Byrnes, faceoff specialist Alex Woodall and midfielders Bryan Cole, TJ Comizio and Brendan Sunday will be participating on Saturday, July 27th at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
