Thompson, Byrnes, and Snider Named Players of the Week

Boston, MA - Lyle Thompson and Liam Byrnes have been named Warrior Players of The Week for their performances in Week Six. Denver Outlaws rookie Will Snider was named Cascade Rookie of the Week for his role in the Outlaws win over the Chesapeake Bayhawks.

Lyle Thompson was named Warrior Offensive Player of The Week after scoring ten goals in two games this weekend. Thompson also added four assists to make it a 14 point weekend. Thompson now leads the league with 23 goals on the season. This is Thomson's second Player of the Week honor this season. He was also named Offensive Player of the Week in Week Three.

Liam Byrnes of the Atlanta Blaze was named Warrior Defensive Player of the Week after anchoring the Blaze defense in two games this past weekend. Byrnes scooped up nine ground balls and caused six turnovers. The Blaze went 1-1. This is Byrnes first Player of the Week honor this season.

Denver Outlaws rookie midfielder Will Snider was named Cascade Rookie of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal on July 4th against the Chesapeake Bayhawks. Snider capped a furious Outlaws comeback with the game-winning goal at the 3:50 mark of the fourth quarter. Snider also tallied another goal in the victory. This is Snider's first Rookie of The Week honor this season.
