Blaze Open Training Camp On March 16th

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze are pleased to announce that the 2010 Training Camp will open March 16th at the Ultimate Indoor Practice Facility in Woods Cross, Utah.
The players and coaches will train together for three weeks prior to the season opener on April 9 at 7 p.m. against the Spokane Shock. Training camp will run from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. for the first week of camp. The media and public are welcome to view practice from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Players and coaches will be available for interview around 12 p.m. prior to their meal break.
"We are really glad to get training camp started and to see what the guys have to show. The season is right around the corner and we are excited to get this season going," said Blaze Head Coach Ernesto Purnsley.
This year's training camp roster is comprised of AFL veterans, arenafootball2 standouts as well as a mix of rookies. The roster includes local favorites such as QB Michael Affleck, QB Brett Elliott, OL/DL Brian Soi and WR/DB Akamu Aki. In addition to AFL veterans including WR Aaron Boone, DB Jacoby Shepherd, WR/DB Toure Carter, OL/DL Dan Loney.

Thursday March 18 Practice Helmets Only, Ultimate Indoor 9am-2pm
Friday March 19 Practice Full Pads, Ultimate Indoor 9am-2pm
