Bloomington Blaze News Release

The Bloomington Blaze, fueled by Mid-Illini Credit Union, have announced a schedule that includes several matchups with an in-state rival plus the team's first trip to three locations.

The Blaze open their second season the AA-level Central Hockey League with a five-game homestand against two of the circuit's top teams, former Ray Miron President's Cup finalists Rapid City Rush and Allen Americans. The Blaze will have frequent meetings with the Quad City Mallards, and will make their first trips ever to Arizona, Wichita and Denver.

Of the 33 home dates at U.S. Cellular Coliseum, 25 games will be played on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Opening face-offs will again be at 7:05 p.m. except for four Sunday contests at 4:05 p.m. and a Kids' Day game planned for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12. Most of the Blaze home dates will also include home contests for the Blaze's new team in the Midwest Junior Hockey League, with nearly all of the junior games scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. The entire Blaze schedule is listed below.

The 10 teams in the CHL will play in one division in 2012-13, the Berry Conference, and the top eight teams will advance to a three-round playoff structure.

Season and multi-game ticket packages are available, as are group packages.
