Blasters Offering Five Dollar Tickets to Upcoming Homestand

The Joplin Blasters have announced that tickets for the team's upcoming homestand June 28-July 3 have been lowered to $5 for any seat in the stadium.
Tickets can be purchased at the team box office on any of the game days, or can be reserved in advance at (417) 622-4838. Each game will have a first pitch time of 7:05 p.m., with the exception of a 5:05 start time for Sunday's series finale.
The homestand will see the Blasters battle two divisional rivals in the Laredo Lemurs and the Wichita Wingnuts. The week will also feature a collection of great promotions for Blasters fans to enjoy. When the team returns home on Tuesday, a Zombie Zone Canned Food Drive will be held at the ballpark in addition to the usual Free Taco Tuesday promotion where fans recieve free tacos with the purchase of a beer.
Wednesday's game will be Wacky Weenie Wednesday, which will allow fans to purchase two-for-one hotdogs at the ballpark. Thursday's game against the Lemurs will be 60's Night at The Joe, as well as Thirsty Thursday.
Friday begins the Blasters' Military Appeciation weekend, which starts with a fireworks display following the game against the Wichita Wingnuts. On Saturday, the team will be wearing special "All-American" themed uniforms, which will be auctioned off. Fireworks will also be fired off after Saturday's game as well. The homestand ends with Sunday's 5:05 contest, where the Blasters will wear military-themed camoflauge jerseys on Military Appreciation Day. The usual Sunday Family Fun Day activities will also be held.
The Blasters invite fans from across the Four State Area to come out to Joe Becker Stadium for this homestand for the reduced price of five dollars per ticket.
