UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The New England Black Wolves announced today that Andrew Suitor and Dave Emala have been signed to one-year contracts.
Per team policy, no terms were released.
In his first season back in New England after spending two seasons with Rochester and Vancouver, Suitor saw action in all 18 games during the 2018-19 season. He had 10 points on three goals and four assists while also scooping up 84 loose balls and causing 21 turnovers. In 120 career games, he has 114 points (57 goals and 57 assists) while grabbing 699 loose balls and causing 142 turnovers.
"We are very excited to have Suits back with the Pack," Black Wolves general manager Rich Lisk said. "It was great welcoming him back to New England last year and he outperformed our expectations. He brings veteran leadership, lacrosse IQ, athleticism and heart to our back end. His passion is unmatched."
A 5-foot-11 forward, Emala played in seven games as a rookie with the Black Wolves in 2018-19, scoring 13 points on seven goals and six assists. He also had 15 loose ball pickups on the year. Against the San Diego Seals on April 6th, he recorded his first career hat trick, including the game-winner.
"Davey is someone who impressed us in camp, started on the practice roster and then worked his way into the lineup," Lisk said. "I couldn't be happier to have him back with the Black Wolves. Davey is exactly what we want in the Pack. I anticipate him making a big impact on and off the floor this year."
