New England Black Wolves News Release
UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The New England Black Wolves announced on Thursday, October 10, the signing of Jordan Durston to a two-year agreement.
In September, the Black Wolves exchanged their 24th overall pick of the draft, Ryan Fournier and Miles Jones to the New York Riptide for Durston.
A 25-year-old forward who played last season for the Buffalo Bandits, Durston was selected 2nd overall in the 1st round of the NLL Expansion Draft. Durston saw action in 18 games for the Bandits last season before being acquired by the New York Riptide. The forward recorded 47 points - 15 goals - to go along with 6 points in 4 playoff games.
Durston will be an integral part of New England's offense, specifically adding to the left side.
"We are very excited to welcome Jordan to the PACK," general manager Rich Lisk said. "Jordan is that type of player you hate playing against, but would love to have on your team and now we have him on ours. With the addition of Jordan to our left side I feel we have all the right pieces in place. His style of play is exactly what we were looking for to help round out our offense."
A native of Wallaceburg, Ontario, Durston brings playoff experience to New England, after advancing to last year's National Lacrosse League championship. The lefty has tallied 193 points through 71 games of action over his career.
Tickets for the 2019-20 season will start at $19 per game. In addition, special on-field experiences are available for groups of 10 or more. Tickets can be purchased by visiting blackwolves.com or calling 844-LAX-WOLF.
