New England Black Wolves News Release
UNCASVILLE, Conn. - Giving doesn't stop at the end of the holiday season, and the New England Black Wolves are asking fans to help support their local community.
The Black Wolves will be holding a food drive at the game on Sunday, February 18th against the Colorado Mammoth and are encouraging all fans to bring non-perishable food items to the game. All donations will go to three local organizations - the Gemma Moran United Way Food Pantry, the Montville Food Pantry and UCFS in Norwich.
Bins will be set up on the Mohegan Sun Arena concourse for donations, and anyone who donates will be entered to win prizes throughout the game. Those prizes include seat upgrades, player meet-and-greets and much more.
The food drive is part of a Mohegan Sun wide imitative to help the local community throughout the month of February. A list of items that are needed can be found on blackwolves.com.
The Black Wolves face off against the Mammoth at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at blackwolves.com or by calling 844-LAX-WOLF.
