Black Wolves Announce Theme Nights for Upcoming Season
UNCASVILLE, CT. - The New England Black Wolves announced today that all single-game tickets are now on sale. The Pack has also announced its 2019 theme nights.
The Black Wolves will celebrate their Home Opener against the newly formed New York Riptide on Friday, Dec. 27 at 7:30 p.m. The first 3,000 fans will receive a t-shirt courtesy of Coca-Cola.
The team will open up the New Year with back-to-back weekend games. On Saturday, Jan. 18 the Black Wolves will host Rivalry Night as they face the Philadelphia Wings at 7 p.m. As a part of the night, the Black Wolves will celebrate the Native American heritage of lacrosse.
On Sunday, Jan. 26, they will take on the Georgia Swarm at 1 p.m. hosting Sunday Funday, celebrating team mascot Hunter's birthday, alongside other area mascots.
On Saturday, Feb. 1, New England meets Vancouver at 7 p.m. for its annual Here for the Beer celebration. This season marks the fourth consecutive year the fan-favorite, post-game beer garden featuring over a dozen local breweries which will return to Mohegan Sun Arena's concourse.
A Bromance and Galentines game will be held over Valentine's Day weekend on Feb. 16 when the team welcomes back the Wings for a 5 p.m. contest.
The Black Wolves will then host Hometown Heroes night, a game to celebrate first responders and military personnel, on Saturday Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. when the team meets the Rochester Knighthawks.
New England will play twice at home in March. The Halifax Thunderbirds will travel to Uncasville, CT on Sunday, Mar 1 as the team hosts their annual Faceoff Against Cancer game at 5 p.m. The night will feature both tributes to those effected by the disease as well as fundraising efforts to support research for a cure. On Sunday, March 15 the team takes on the Calgary Roughnecks at 3 p.m. while celebrating their Cheers to St. Patrick's Day game.â
New England will play their final home game of the season on Saturday, Apr. 18. The Black Wolves will welcome the Georgia Swarm for a 7 p.m. contest on Fan Appreciation Day.
