
Black Wolves Acquire Shane MacDonald

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (November 19, 2015) - The New England Black Wolves have acquired Shane MacDonald from the Georgia Swarm in exchange for Drew Petkoff. The trade is pending league approval.
MacDonald, the fifth overall pick in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft, played in 11 games for the Swarm in 2015. He had six goals and seven assists for 13 points while also scooping up 16 loose balls.
Traded to New England in March, Petkoff had two goals and two assists in seven games for the Black Wolves during the 2015 season. He also scooped up 40 loose balls.
The Black Wolves open the 2016 NLL season January 9th in Vancouver before returning to Connecticut for its home opener against the Calgary Roughnecks on Friday, January 15th at 7 p.m. at Mohegan Sun Arena.
