
Black Wolves Acquire Riley O'Connor from Roughnecks

Uncasville, Conn. - The New England Black Wolves have acquired Riley O'Connor from the Calgary Roughnecks in exchange for a second round pick in the 2017 NLL Entry Draft.
"We are very excited to have Riley join the Black Wolves," Black Wolves General Manager Rich Lisk said. "His skill set fits with what we are looking for."
A 6-foot-1 forward, O'Connor was selected seventh overall in the 2015 NLL Entry Draft. As a rookie with the Roughnecks in 2016, he played in 18 games with 36 points on six goals and 30 assists while scooping up 48 loose balls.
Prior to joining the NLL, O'Connor was a two-time All-BIG EAST Second Team honoree at Georgetown. He wrapped up his career with the Hoyas 12th in program history with 133 points and eighth with 67 assists.
Entering their third season in New England, the Black Wolves enjoyed one of the biggest turnarounds in NLL history last year, finishing 10-8 under first-year coach Glenn Clark. New England went on to defeat the Georgia Swarm in the first round of the playoffs before falling to Buffalo in the East Division Finals.
