UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The New England Black Wolves acquired Ryan Fournier from the Buffalo Bandits in exchange for Matt Spanger.

"Ryan adds another speedy transition player to our defensive core, and we are also excited by Ryan's versatility, not only on transition, but also because he takes faceoffs," Black Wolves General Manager Rich Lisk said. "We want to thank Matt for being a part of the Black Wolves the past two seasons."

Selected 12th overall in the 2017 NLL Entry Draft, Fournier played five games for Vancouver, collecting three goals and two assists with 14 loose balls. He was signed by the Bandits on March 8, 2018, and played in one game, finishing with four loose balls.

Spanger appeared in 18 games for the Black Wolves over two seasons. He had 54 loose balls, 13 caused turnovers and five points.
