Longview-Kelso, Washington - Professional style minor league baseball is back in Cowlitz County! That means crazy, fun, and entertaining promotions throughout the entire season. The Black Bears released their 2012 promotional schedule, and it's packed with two fireworks displays, seven giveaway nights, and a variety of great bargain nights.
Opening night, Tuesday, June 5th presented by Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, kicks it off with Three Rivers Mall Magnetic Schedule Night (first 500 fans receive a magnet schedule) and a Fireworks Show after the game.
"The Black Bears are committed to providing the most exciting fan experience possible," said Black Bears general manager Grant Wilson. "And, we're pulling out all the stops and also making games extraordinarily affordable for our great fans."
There's plenty of fun for the youngsters, with Ball Giveaway Night on June 9th, presented by Longview Fibre, and the Riverview Bank Kids Dash For Cash on July 13th, where youngsters scoop up cash spread over the infield. And, women dig for three diamonds in the July 20th Gallery of Diamonds Diamond Dig.
Kids Eat Free on Mondays presented by State Farm, while Azteca $2 Tuesdays feature $2 general admission tickets, $2 hot dogs, $2 soda, and $2 beer. Wednesdays are Burgerville Family Night with 4 general admission tickets, 4 sodas, and 4 hot dogs for only $28. Estetica Day Spa Thirsty Thursday and Ladies Night will feature beer at only $2 and ladies get a $2 discount on the game day ticket price. Azteca Fiesta Friday's and Applebee's Saturday's at the Park are packed with outrageous promotions and giveaways. And Best Care-Local Care presents Kids Club and Senior Sundays, which includes free admission for Kids Club members and ticket discounts for seniors.
