
Black Bears Lose 4-0 to Falcons

Kelowna: The Kelowna Falcons put together a dominant pitching performance Friday night, as their starter pitched a complete game four-hitter to defeat the Black Bears 4-0.
Mike Murray (Hawaii Pacific) pitched well in his start for the Black Bears, allowing just two earned runs in five innings. Another bright spot on the mound was Kody Watts (Portland), who allowed only one hit in a scoreless one and two thirds innings.
Kyle Kuck (Santa Ana) had one of the Black Bears hits and was the only member of the team to reach base twice as he also drew a walk. Austin Diemer (Cal State Fullerton), (Ben Swinford (Cornell), and Austin Wobrock (Orange Coast) all singled as well.
The Black Bears next home game is against the Corvallis Knights on Tuesday, June 19. It will be Azteca $2 Tuesday where general admission tickets, hot dogs, soda, and beer are all $2 apiece. .
