Bend: The Black Bears scored both of their runs on a dropped third strike in the first inning and held on to defeat the Bend Elks 2-1 Wednesday night in Bend. The Black Bears now have a half game over Klamath Falls for the second playoff spot in the WCL's West Division.

ng and Taylor Williams (Mt. Hood) pitched around a hit and walk to get the save.
