Bitter Rivals Meet In The Gateway City

July 13, 2006 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
RiverCity Rage News Release

St. Louis - July 13, 2006-The opponent for the RAGE game this Saturday night at Savvis Center has been announced.

The RiverCity Rage will play host to the Cincinnati Marshals. This season, the Marshals have fallen twice to the Rage by scores of 76-34 at Savvis Center and 62-34 in Cincinnati.

This game has a lot more meaning to it though than a regular game. Last season, the Rage defeated the Marshals in the regular season twice also, but failed to get past them in an Atlantic Conference Quarter-Final match up. Added in with the rivalry from last season and this season, is the fact that a trip to the Atlantic Conference Championship will be on the line. The game will start at 7 P.M. down at the Savvis Center in St. Louis.

HONORAY RAGE CAPTAIN FOR THE NIGHT

As announced on Tuesday, one of the most prolific Wide Receivers in the AFL will be at Savvis Center for the game Saturday. Etu Molden of the Arena Bowl XX World Champion Chicago Rush will be the Rage Honorary Captain for the evening. Molden will conduct the coin toss during pre-game and will also judge an Endzone Dace Competition during the game.

PLAYOFF SCHEDULE

July 15 - Atlantic Conference Semi-Final
July 22 - Atlantic Conference Final
**July 29 - NIFL Championship - Indoor Bowl VI
**pending a win and final seeding against Pacific Conference Champion.

Tickets for the playoffs are on sale at any Ticket Master Outlet or at Ticket Master Online.
