TODAY'S GAME: This afternoon, the Buffalo Bisons face the Rochester Red Wings in the final game of a two-game series at Frontier Field (1:05 p.m.). The Herd will look for the two-game sweep after last night's 11-6 comeback victory. Today's game is the final contest before this week's All-Star Break. The Bisons will open up a four-game set against the Gwinnett Braves on Thursday.
vs. WINGS: The Bisons are 4-2 this season against their closest rivals. The teams split a two-game set in Rochester, April 21-22 and didn't face each other again until the Herd took two of three on July 1-3 at Coca-Cola Field. The Bisons are 52-46 (.531) all-time at Frontier Field.
MLB REHAB: LHP OLIVER PEREZ will continue his MLB rehab assignment today with the Bisons. The Mets placed Perez on the disabled list June 5 with patella tendinitis in his right knee. In two rehab starts with Single-A St. Lucie, Perez was 1-1 with a 4.63ERA. He struck out seven in each start. Perez was 0-3 with a 6.28ERA in 11 games (7 starts) with the Mets before the injury.

Duda has now hit in five straight and has a .337 (29-86) with 16 extra-base hits in his first month with the team.
NO REST FOR STARS: LHP PAT MISCH will not get a break this week as he will represent the Bisons at the Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday in Lehigh Valley, PA. Misch leads the IL in innings pitched (112.1) and tops all lefties with nine wins. The southpaw is on of only four IL pitchers with two complete games this year and his 3.12ERA is 10th lowest in the league.
GOLLY GEE: RHP DILLON GEE struck out 11 Red Wings in just 6.2 innings of work last night. He became the first Bisons pitcher to fan 11 since RHP JASON BERE has 11 punchouts on May 17, 2003 against Indy. Gee now has 102 strikeouts on the year, fourth most in the IL. He's the first Herd hurler to strike out 100+ since RHP Hyang-Nam Choi has 105 strikeouts in 2006.
