TODAY'S GAME: This afternoon, the Buffalo Bisons will host the Ottawa Lynx for a doubleheader at Dunn Tire Park (first game, 2:05 p.m.). The two, seven-inning games are the middle two games of a four-game series. Ottawa leads the set after taking the opener last night, 5-2. Today, the Bisons will turn to a pair of pitchers that began the year in the bullpen. Rob Bell, who is 1-1 with a 2.70ERA in two starts, will go in game one for Buffalo. Hyang-Nam Choi, who's making his first start of the season, will get the ball in game two. Ottawa will counter with Cory Morris (game one) and Brian Bowles (game two).

LET'S PLAY TWO: Today will be the second doubleheader for the Bisons this season. The Herd played two against the Braves in Richmond on April 9. Buffalo won the first game, 2-0 in 10 innings, while the Braves came back, 3-0, in the second game.

BELL RINGER: Starter Rob Bell is coming off an impressive start five days ago. Despite taking the loss against Charlotte, Bell fanned a Bisons-season high eight batters. Bell has been equally impressive as a starter (1-1, 2.70ERA, 2G) and a reliever (1-1, 2.631RA, 1 save, 7G) so far this season.

OUCH!: Ryan Garko got hit by a pitch again last night, the ninth time he's been plunked in 2006. At this rate, Garko will get the painful free pass 43 times by the end of the season.

NEAR CYCLE: Outfielder Ben Francisco was a triple-shy of hitting for the cycle last night. Francisco singled, doubled and homered in a 3-4 performance. Francisco is now tied with Jason Dubois for the team lead with five home runs. He is also third on the Bisons roster with 14 runs driven in.

RUN PRODUCERS: Only four International League batters have collected 20 or more RBI and two play for the Bisons. Ryan Garko is currently second in the league with 22RBI while his teammate Jason Dubois is fourth in the IL with 20RBI.
