
Birmingham "Steels" Opening Game Victory From Sea Dawgs

Wilmington Sea Dawgs News Release
The Wilmington Sea Dawgs began their 2010 season on the road with a tough loss against the Birmingham Steel by a score of 114-102. The Sea Dawgs were down 51-42 at half. With 3:45 left in game the Dawgs got it down to a 96-90 deficit. But even Aaron Scott's team leading 22 points was not enough for the Dawgs.
The team heads back to Wilmington tonight. They then hit the road for back-to-back away games. Thursday, May 6th they face the Georgia Gwizzles and then Friday, May 7th they take on the Carolina Cougarz in Fayetteville, NC.
The Sea Dawgs first home game is Thursday, May 13th at 7:05 p.m. against the Savannah Wildcats. The theme is College Night, with all college students, faculty and staff get in free with ID.
