MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Myrtle Beach Pelicans dropped their final game of the first half on Sunday night 3-2 to the Carolina Mudcats from TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark.

With the Mudcats (34-36) leading 3-1 in the bottom of the sixth, the Pelicans (34-36) attempted to rally. The Birds tied the game in the bottom half of the third inning when Peguero ripped an RBI double to score Connor Myers .

In the fourth inning, Carolina snared the lead right back as Cooper Hummel laced an RBI single to make it 2-1, and the Muddies extended their advantage in the fifth with a Weston Wilson RBI ground out.

Conor Harber (2-3) earned the win for the Muddies, going six innings while ceding two runs on five hits. Luke Barker saved his sixth game of the season by recording the final four outs.
