
Bird Buys Balcony - Pack The House Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS - Pacers Sports & Entertainment President Larry Bird has purchased the entire balcony of Conseco Fieldhouse for Saturday night's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals with the sole intent to fill the arena as the Indiana Fever hosts the Detroit Shock for a one-game, Eastern Conference championship and the right to advance to next week's WNBA Finals.
The Fever evened the best-of-three series with a 79-75 win Friday evening.
Balcony seats for Saturday's game, which tips at 7:00 p.m., are free to the public and available beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office only.
"I am so proud of the Fever, who are now one game away from the WNBA Finals," said Bird. "I want all the fans to come to the game and get behind this team for the biggest game in Fever history. So, bring the whole family and the balcony tickets are on me."
The Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office will open at 10 a.m., and balcony seats will be available until tipoff, or while supplies last. There will be a limit of eight tickets for each individual.
Lower bowl and Krieg DeVault Club Level tickets remain available for the game, and are also on sale at the Box Office, FeverBasketball.com and all Ticketmaster locations. In addition, Kroger Plus Card members may use Kroger Plus Cards to purchase lower level seats for just $12 by showing the card at the box office or entering the Kroger Plus Card number on the Fever website.
Advancing to the WNBA Playoffs for a fifth consecutive season while celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Indiana Fever hosts Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Sept. 26. Led by five time WNBA All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist Tamika Catchings, Olympic silver medalist Tully Bevilaqua, 2008 WNBA Most Improved Player Ebony Hoffman and two-time WNBA All-Stars Katie Douglas and Tammy Sutton-Brown, the Fever bids for its first appearance in the WNBA Finals.
