Binghamton Rumble Ponies News Release
Major League Baseball announced today that all 120 Minor League Clubs offered an invitation to become Professional Development League ("PDL") license holders, have officially agreed to accept. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies, selected as partners by the New York Mets, will provide both facilities and communities that are essential to the development of the next generation of big-league stars.

In accordance with the MLB's new plan, The Rumble Ponies will compete in a brand new League for the 2021 season and beyond. They will take part in the New Double-A Northeast League, and will be seeded in the Northeast division.
With MLB's new partnership comes a whole new fan experience as well. Fans will soon be able to take advantage of digital ticket sales, improved parking, seats and rewards programs, and the industry-leading MLB app. This new system also opens up the possibility of exciting opportunities that would bring MLB's presence closer to our community.
We can't wait for the 2021 season to start and look forward to a successful partnership with the New York Mets for years to come.
