As the year comes to a close the Indoor Football League will look at the Top Ten Players of the 2015 season, culminating in the announcement of the Top IFL Player of 2015 on New Year's Eve.
The IFL is proud to announce that Billings Wolves DB Michael Green has been named number five on the IFL's list of the Top Ten Players of 2015.
During his rookie campaign, and under the guidance of first-year Head Coach and IFL Hall of Famer Chris Dixon, Green became one of the most feared ballhawks in the IFL. He intercepted seven passes in 2015 en route to being named IFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
In the last half of the season, Green's ability to have a nose for the ball helped fuel the Wolves strong finish to the season, winning four out of their last five games. His streak of at least one interception in four consecutive games was the longest in the IFL. Green concluded his 2015 season with 114 tackles (2nd in the IFL), seven interceptions (2nd in the IFL) two sacks, four forced fumbles and led the IFL interception return yards. Green was named as the Week 12 IFL Defensive Player of the Week and was later as a First Team All-IFL Defensive Back.
Green has re-signed with the Wolves for 2016 and will look to help the team build off a spectacular end of their 2015 season.
