Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Waterloo, Iowa - The Waterloo Black Hawks inaugural Bike Crawl is underway from now through the Hawks' game at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 16th against the Omaha Lancers.
On Wednesday, the Black Hawks announced the format for the activity, as well as a special ticket offer for hockey and cycling enthusiasts age 21 and over.
"Rather than having this event on one day and risking the possibility of poor weather, we're encouraging people to be outdoors and showing their Black Hawks spirit from now through the 16th," said Black Hawks spokesman Tim Harwood. "The Cedar Valley's trail system is a point of great pride for so many in our communities, and after a long winter, there are a lot of people who want to be back outdoors and on the trails."
