
Bighorns take win against Toros, 100-84

Reno- The Reno Bighorns kept the momentum going for another home win on Saturday. The chemistry on the team was no match for the Austin Toros and the two outstanding players of the game were Patrick Ewing Jr. and David Noel. The Toros showed most of their strength in the second quarter where they outscored the Bighorns, 29-22.
The Bighorns began the game shooting on target when they opened with 75% from the field in the first quarter.
The Toros were able to get back into the game during the second quarter, in which they went 5 of 10 from behind the arc as well as shooting 52.2% from the field.
The Toros were able to get within 5 early in the 3rd quarter but that was as small as the gap would get. The Bighorns were able to pull away at the end of the third.
They were led by Forward, Marcus Williams and Dwayne Jones. Williams had a game high 27 points, while Jones added his double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bighorns were led by Patrick Ewing Jr. and Russell Robinson. Ewing led the Bighorns with 25 points, Robinson, on the verge of a triple-double, added 20 point, 8 assists and 7 rebounds as the Bighorns beat the Toros, 100-84 on their way to their third win in as many games.
