
Bighorns Rally For 98-90 Victory Over Bakersfield

RENO, Nev.- Bakersfield held the upper hand for most of the evening, but a furious fourth-quarter rally pushed the Reno Bighorns to a 98-90 victory over the Jam Tuesday night in the Reno Events Center.
Reno (4-3) put together a 14-2 run over the final three minutes of the first half to take a three-point lead into the locker room, only to see Bakersfield (0-8) fire back, taking a three-point lead of its own into the fourth quarter.
The Bighorns trailed 88-81 with less than three minutes to go in the ballgame, but Reno outscored Bakersfield 17-2 the rest of the way to collect its third-straight victory.
Desmon Farmer, the reigning NBA Development League Performer of the Week, turned it on late to lead the Bighorns with a game-high 27 points. Mo Charlo chipped in 19 points and 12 boards, while Rod Benson picked-up another double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
John Williams paced the Jam with 25 points. Tyrelle Blair pulled down 15 rebounds, while Jeremy Wise came off the bench to kick-in 15 points.
The Bighorns now hit the road for a date with Sioux Falls on Friday night. Tip-time is set for 5 p.m. PST from the Sioux Falls Arena. The game can be seen live on NBA Futurecast by visiting www.RenoBighorns.com.
