OKLAHOMA CITY - The Western Conference Leader Reno Bighorns (26-14) defeated the Oklahoma City Blue (15-26) 126-122 Thursday morning at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
Erick Green led the Bighorns with 30 points, four rebounds and three assists behind a 9-15 shooting effort. Sacramento Kings assignment player, Duje Dukan, recorded 20 points, two rebounds and three assists as Ricky Ledo totaled 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. David Stockton logged a double-double Thursday morning with 16 points, four rebounds and 12 assists.
Green went 4-6 from the field in the first quarter notching 12 points and two rebounds while the Bighorns newest roster member, Luke Martinez, tallied six points in the quarter. Stockton had four points in the first.
During the second quarter, Ledo led the Bighorns with 10 points and four rebounds as Dukan scored seven points. Martinez had six points and two rebounds in the quarter. A balanced shooting effort from both sides kept the score tight with both teams shooting 54.5 percent from the field. The Bighorns won the quarter 37-33.
At the half, the Bighorns trailed the Blue 68-66.
The Bighorns opened the third quarter on fire leading the Blue by 11 points in the first five minutes. Dukan added 10 points and two rebounds for the Bighorns in the quarter as Green and Kadeem Jack totaled eight points each in the third. The Bighorns outscored the Blue 37-27 in the quarter.
During the final quarter, Green led the Bighorns with 10 points while Ledo notched five points. Stockton recorded four points and four rebounds in the fourth.
The Bighorns outscored the Blue 60-54 in the second half.
The Bighorns face the Oklahoma City Blue again on Saturday, Mar. 12 at 5 p.m. in Oklahoma City.
