Bighorns Get Rammed by Legends

March 25, 2012 - NBA G League (G League)
Texas Legends News Release

Frisco, TX - The Texas Legends' hot shooting and team effort once again resulted in a win over the Reno Bighorns, 120-113.

Six Legends scored in double figures including Anthony Vereen who led Texas with 21 points off the bench. Antonio Daniels lived up to his "Maestro" nickname with another double-double of 13 assists and 12 points.

Ramon Dyer left Legends fans with their jaw dropped as he skied for multiple dunks, but his game high of 13 rebounds was equally important in the win for Texas.

After a 36 point performance in Thursday's contest, Reno's Andre Emmitt was held to 10 points, well below his league leading average. Will Blalock attempted to pick up the slack by pouring in 23 points, grabbing six rebounds, and tallying four assists for the Bighorns.

Kelenna Azubuike, on assignment from the NBA affiliate Dallas Mavericks, made his Legends debut registering six points in just over 11 minutes of action.

Texas (24-20) looks to solidify a playoff spot when they face the Dakota Wizards (23-19) in back to back games at the Bismarck Civic Center, in Bismarck, North Dakota starting Wednesday at 7:00PM CST.
