December 5, 2008 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release
The Detroit Red Wings have their octopus. The Jacks prefer to take a kinder, gentler approach to celebrate goals.
The Muskegon Lumberjacks will be holding their annual Teddy Bear Toss on Friday, December 5th when the team tangles with the Port Huron IceHawks. Bring your new or gently used teddy bear to the L.C. Walker Arena that night. When the Lumberjacks score their first goal of the game, we invite you to toss your bear onto the ice. The teddy bears will be donated to a local charity. Faceoff is at 7:00 PM.
Be there on Saturday night when the first place Lumberjacks lock horns with their cross state rivals, the Kalamazoo Wings. The puck drops at 7:00 PM.
