
Big Brother Big Sisters and the ThunderBolts Team Up

LAKELAND-The Lakeland ThunderBolts of the National Indoor Football League, will be participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Summer Picnic on June 10 at Willow Ranch. The ThunderBolts Players were asked to help participate in various activities with the children.
This picnic is held every year at Willow Ranch, which is the home of Big Brother, Rick Nelson. The Picnic is open to all Big Brothers and Big Sisters and any child that has been interviewed or is already a match within the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. While at the picnic ThunderBolts players will have the opportunity to interact with the children playing games, crafts, fishing, and horseback riding.
"The Lakeland ThunderBolts are excited to be a part of this amazing opportunity to reach out to kids in the community," said GM Kenny Johnson. "Big Brother Big Sisters is a great organization and the ThunderBolts look forward to building a lasting relationship with them."
The ThunderBolts are at home again June 24 vs. Osceola. Kick off is at 7pm at the Lakeland Center.
