Rockford, Ill.- If you didn't get one of the Rockford IceHogs special 2005-06 Jersey Auction Jersey's this past season, you still can get one! IceHogs fans can bid on the special commemorative IceHogs jersey on the team's official Web site, www.icehogs.com, on the auction page.
The auction runs through Tuesday, May 16 at 1 a.m. and the highest bidder will receive a "Design Your Own" authentic Lieutenant Hammy jersey. You can customize the jersey to your liking (no duplicate player names or numbers from this season's team however) and sport a one-of-a-kind jersey that no one else will own. All proceeds from the on-line auction will go to the IceHogs Charitable Foundation which will donate the finds to local non-profit organizations.
Throughout the summer the IceHogs will feature several different items on the auction page on the team's Web site, including but not limited to authentic game worn jerseys, autographed merchandise and much more. For questions about the IceHogs online auction, contact the IceHogs at (815) 986-6465.
